JPMorgan’s Campbell Global Adds 28,200 Acres of Timberland

Oregon’s Emerald Ridge property is home to 8.5 million trees.

Campbell Global LLC, the timberland investing platform of J.P. Morgan Asset Management, announced Monday the acquisition of a timberland property spanning the North Coast and Willamette Valley regions of Oregon. 

The property, Emerald Ridge, will add 28,200 acres of timberland to Campbell Global’s platform. Emerald Ridge contains 8.5 million trees of varying ages and species, according to a statement from Campbell Global.  

“We are pleased to be adding Emerald Ridge to our portfolio,” said Angela Davis, Campbell Global’s CEO, in a statement. “Oregon is home to some of the highest quality forestland in the world and this transaction demonstrates our team’s expertise and ability to acquire top-tier properties on behalf of our investors.” 

Portland, Oregon-based Campbell Global manages $10.1 billion in assets. The specialist manager was acquired by J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2021.
