Cerity Partners Hires Will Peng as Chief Innovation Officer

Peng is tasked with driving artificial intelligence adoption at the wealth management and OCIO firm.

Outsourced CIO provider and wealth management firm Cerity Partners LLC announced the appointment of Will Peng as the firm’s first chief innovation officer.

Peng will lead the firm’s application of artificial intelligence to build scalable workflows and capabilities, among other responsibilities, according to a statement from Cerity Partners.

“As Cerity Partners continues to grow and evolve, bringing someone of Will’s caliber to lead our innovation agenda is a defining moment for the firm,” Cerity President Kevin Hilden said in a statement.

Peng founded and worked as the CEO of fintech company Northstar, which entered into an agreement to be acquired by financial wellness company Nayya Health Inc. in September 2025. Peng was also previously a partner in venture capital firm Red Swan.

Peng earned a bachelor’s degree in operations research and financial engineering from Princeton University.
