
Family office investors are located around the world and share many similar investment and organizational priorities.
Data from J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s 2026 Global Family Office Report, offers detailed and contextualized information about when these investment offices were formed, where in the world they are located, and how many individuals, families and generations they serve.
The reported average net worth of survey participants was $1.6 billion, while the collective net worth represented by all respondents was $518 billion, according to the private bank’s data.
The data also offers insights, through ranking, into the risks identified as affecting portfolios, both in the U.S. and globally.
And finally, allocation information, showing the levels at which these investors, as a group, are investing in a variety of asset classes, including a breakdown of what is in the nearly 40% of their holdings allocated to private investments.
The survey to collect this data was conducted from May 2025 through July 2025 and reflects perspectives from 333 family offices across 30 countries around the world.
