Introducing the 2025 CIO Market Movers!

Just like allocators, strategists and others in the institutional investing world, Chief Investment Officer keeps an eye on how and where assets are moving in the markets. Fund-flow data offers a glimpse into investor sentiment, behavior and market dynamics, making it a useful, if lagging, indicator of investment trends.

From the data at our disposal, we have culled details about the funds and fund managers that gather assets, including about which asset classes and investment themes are growing. This year, for the first time, we recognize those funds and managers that came out on top.

For the inaugural CIO Market Movers recognition, we have selected the fastest-growing funds, by rate of net new flows, year-to-date as of June 30, using data from ISS Market Intelligence’s MarketPulse Powered by Simfund. Future iterations of Market Movers could include additional lists that meet different quantitative criteria.
