aiCIO Announces 2011 Pension, E&F, and SWF Award Nominees

CalSTRS, the Ford Foundation, and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board are among the nominees for the 2011 Industry Innovation Awards.

(September 26, 2011) – For the second year running, a swath of pension plans, endowment & foundation, and sovereign wealth funds have been nominated for the aiCIO Industry Innovation Awards.

Chosen by the aiCIO editorial team in conjunction with an Advisory Board comprised of former chief investment officers and pension officials, this year’s nominees represent those funds and individuals that are advancing the professionalism and management of asset-owning investment worldwide.

Winners for each category – Foundations, Endowments, Corporate Pension Plans (below $5 billion in assets), Corporate Pension Plans (above $5 billion), Public Pensions (below $15 billion), Public Pensions (above $15 billion), and Sovereign Wealth Funds – will be announced at a dinner in New York City on December 1, 2011.
