In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Caritas Partners, the philanthropic division of Celadon Financial, has partnered with the American Red Cross and Global Impact to assist those in need from the storm.
Caritas is willing to donate 50% of its gross commissions from both equity and option trades as well as from “step-out” transactions to aid this effort.
Donations will be made in the name of Caritas’ customers to the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP), Disaster Responder Members, and Global Impact’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
Over the weekend, the Category 4 hurricane made landfall in Texas, reaching speeds up to 130 miles per hour, and causing severe flooding and power outages. Parts of Louisiana have been affected by the storm as well.
