ISS STOXX To Acquire Sustainability Indexes, Data Provider ECPI

The Italy-based company provides institutional investors with sustainable investment solutions.



ISS STOXX 
announced Thursday an agreement to acquire ECPI Group SRL, a Milan-based provider of sustainability indexes and data analysis tool sets for institutional investors, from Confluence Technologies. 

ISS STOXX is the parent company of CIO.  

ECPI provides asset owners and asset managers with products ranging from more than 60 sustainability indexes to sustainability portfolio screening. ECPI was founded in 1997 and launched its first indexes in 2001.  

Upon completion of the acquisition, STOXX Ltd. will become the benchmark administrator for all of ECPI’s sustainability indices.
