AlTi Global Names CIO Nancy Curtin as Interim CEO

Nancy Curtin
Multi-family office and wealth management firm AlTi Global Inc. announced Tuesday the appointment of Global CIO Nancy Curtin as interim CEO as the firm undergoes a leadership transition that will see CEO and Founder Michael Tiedemann step down but remain in an advisory role.
The New York-based firm, which manages $93 billion in assets for families, endowments and foundations, was formed in 2023 through the mergers of Tiedemann Group, Alvarium Investments and Cartesian Growth Corp.
Tiedemann was CEO of Tiedemann Advisors and the Tiedemann Investment Group between 2000 and 2023. He was previously the head of sales trading for Latin America at Credit Suisse.
“It has been my immense privilege to lead this company since its inception,” Tiedemann said in a statement. “I am incredibly proud of what this team has built and grateful to the clients and partners who have been critical to our success.”
Curtin has served as global CIO of AlTi Tiedemann Global since 2023 and was previously group CIO and head of advisory at predecessor firm Alvarium.
“I am honored to step into the role of interim CEO at this important juncture in AlTi’s growth trajectory,” Curtin said in a statement.
She was previously CIO and head of investments at Close Brothers Asset Management and was CIO and managing partner in Fortune Asset Management. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
