Portfolio Construction
Idea generation takes place on an ongoing basis via 1-on-1 meetings with portfolio managers, strategists, economists, and CEOs to extract opportunities, coupled with our team's own identification of investment "megatrends" driven by technology, demographics, and geopolitical developments. The Angeles investment team is responsible for this idea generation, which is then communicated to and discussed with the firm’s Investment Committee, comprised of the most senior investment professionals. Our portfolio construction, its themes, and tilts are implemented by the investment team. The specific investment challenges are always new, but the process to handle those challenges is well-established.
*Includes 5 relationship managers who also have portfolio management responsibilities.
