Natalie Herter
Herter’s appointment is effective September 2. She will work with Wilson to ensure an orderly transition, a statement from the foundation said.
She was selected from more than 160 applicants during a search led by recruitment firm Korn Ferry, according to a statement from the foundation.
Herter joins the Boston Foundation from Mount Holyoke College’s investment office. She also previously spent more than a decade at Cambridge Associates, most recently as managing director and investment team leader in the firm’s endowment and foundation practice.

Herter earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College.
