Scores for BlackRock continue their modest climb. The uptick in performance is interesting due to the fact the firm nearly doubled its rate of response on last year—not an easy feat when compared with other providers. “Responsiveness” and “timely performance reporting” remain bright spots, but there is room for improvement—especially surrounding “new ideas and solutions,” where it was the only provider with 10 or more client evaluations to dip below a 4. No one doubts the asset management titan’s commitment to LDI—clients are satisfied—and it’s possible that attracting even more responses next year could further buoy scores.
