THE RESPONSE level for BlackRock was very strong this year—only one provider had more. On top of such an increase in evaluations, for the fourth year in a row Black- Rock had steadily higher overall satisfaction scores than the previous year. That said, its scores are not among the top five in any of the survey categories, and there still appears to be room for improvement in the area of new ideas and solutions. More than half of BlackRock’s clients this year are “extremely satisfied”—compared to 25% that were in 2015—which confirms the firm’s commitment to LDI.
