2016 w as t he fi rst a ppearance o f W estern Asset in our LDI survey, but with 32 responses this year, the firm has qualified for full inclusion for the first time, and has done so with gusto. Western Asset’s score for overall offering is excellent—tied for second place with a 4.65. In four additional areas, Western Asset managed to collect even higher scores and tops the league tables in those. Of particular note is the firm’s score for accessibility to its investment team, with a survey record score of 4.93 out of 5.00.
